The Nightingale Hospital opened in Exeter on 26th November, set up to receive Coronavirus patients. First Care has been supporting, providing safe transport for patients requiring continuing care and those returning home. Nightingale has 116 beds and aims to take the pressure off local hospitals.
First Care are pleased and proud to inform customers that continuous safe ambulance transport has been provided throughout the last five months, supplying essential support to the NHS and vulnerable patients in need of safe transportation to hospitals and medical centres. The First Care team have been trained to a high standard, minimising the infection risk and protecting clients lives. PPE was swiftly sourced and introduced for staff and patients – in addition to this 5,000 masks and 50 litres of alcohol hand gel are being deployed each week.
